Cover To Cover

We started a new series yesterday at Cross Point called Cover To Cover – Understanding the Story Written On Your Heart. The idea is this:

While many of us have read the Bible, maybe even memorized portions of it, we still have a hard time really understanding what it is trying to say. We tend to read and understand it as if it’s merely a collection of separate stories. But seeing the Bible in this fragmented way robs us of a greater understanding.

If your life is going to be shaped by this story, you have to pull back enough to actually see the whole picture. This is a story in which you are found. You’re a part of this unfolding drama. Through this sereis, we’ll help you begin to understand how it all fits together in a grand drama and how your life is a part of the greatest story ever told.

To go with the series, we have created a tool that could be helpful to individuals and small groups anywhere. There is a reading plan that covers all 5 weeks, along with discussion questions to help bring the text alive as you meditate on the scriptures. These questions are great for individual study, or could be used for discussion in a group setting.

There will also be daily devotionals written by the Cross Point staff to track with the reading plan. You can check all of this out at covertocover.tv.

Please let me know if this tool is a blessing to you or your groups!
